stickygoo is an educational and commentary site
for organizational leaders and decision makers, usability and design
professionals, and those who are interested in the improvement of customer
experience and usability on the Web. Our mission is to focus the Web
on better serving its customers.
stickygoo is also a company that offers evaluation,
consulting and training services to organizations whose success depends
on their ability to use the Internet for communication and commerce
with their stakeholders.
Why this design for the site? Its a natural
question for any web site that serves as a focal point for discussion
about the improvement of the customer experience on the web. The design
you see was chosen because it is easy to maintain, fast-loading, emphasizes
the content and maximizes readability. Graphics are used on the site,
but only if the add significantly to the readers experience. The
site is also a work in progress
a place to do some informal experimentation
with techniques before we suggest that anyone else use them.
The principals behind stickygoo, Matte Scheinker
and Scott Larson, are available to speak at conferences and events,
or to your organization on a number of topics, including:
- Beyond online shopping: Designing next generation
application-driven ecommerce
- Rubik's Cube Everyone does it, but no one will talk about
it: Searching for a checkout process that works
- Putting the customers first: Creating a dedicated
interaction design function
- Recruiting, developing and structuring a
interaction design team
- Information architecture overview for managers
- Evaluating, hiring and managing an interactive
